and still more roads to drive

again i'm attempting not to overwhelm you with words, so come along on the drive up the east coast of tasmania.

just loved that art deco house. beautiful.

so the hot pink road took me north and the purple south. great country but i think i preferred the wildness of yesterday's bush so much more.

i got back into hobart late afternoon and went for a wander through the streets before settling on a cafe in salamanca place for dinner. so needed vegetables.

an early to bed night. because i was on holiday and i could.

a lot of road to travel

an early start to the day and i'm not going to explain the photos - you can just journey along the way with me. i had the camera sitting on top of the steering wheel half the time. it was a long but fabulous day.

starting from hobart, follow the green trail north to perth before i headed west to cradle mountain national park. after a couple of hours of walking through beautiful country i was back in the car heading south west on the orange brick road to queenstown before driving back to hobart. the day was 7am to 7pm. phew!

when i eventually got back to hobart, there was a few minutes of rest before hitting the theatre royal for a comedy night. local and interstate comic friends of gavin's hit the stage. a whole lot of laughing going on.

and then i fell into bed.
