greetings from l.a.

i think i love this city because it bloomed through my favourite time periods - 20s through the early 60s. all that great style has been left in various states as you can see but still it's there. today i spent many hours just driving around different areas.

i stopped at the farmer's market for a browse and a brownie. there's some english toffee winging it's way to you when i get home mum.

i had lunch on sunset at a restaurant called chin chin's. the view from the parking lot used to be the best in the city, can't see through the trees now. what 15 years will do to a place. ;) also stopped by one of my favourite book stores, book soup.

as i was going through beverly hills this house was all decked out for halloween, but tastefully to match the neighbourhood.

dropped by the apple pan to grab a banana cream pie for dessert tonight. mmm...

later on that same day...vince and flynn trying out a new harness for them both.

and this was the dessert i was telling you about earlier, the banana cream pie. oh my goodness, it was just fabulous. mmm.. now i need sleep.
