theatre with friends

went along to bella union at the trades hall to watch a run through of a play that's going up for the comedy festival in a month's time. a small audience and a freebie - two actors occasionally reading from scripts but we definitely got the gist. i enjoyed mike mcleish and fiona harris's in ...plus one. a bit rough but it'll be right on the night, songs in place, scripts put down. the two create three characters apiece, a group of friends from uni days then 15 or years later. friendship and secrets. i liked it.
