dinner with flic and jamie at curves bar within the arts complex. i wish i could have stayed there all night talking with them both. but we had an opera to attend.
a beautiful production of the magic flute at the state theatre. i loved the sets and costumes, just glorious. it's the first time i've listened to this opera, and they had updated it a little - the acting segments, not the music or lyrics. the ocker talking up against german singing was amusing, as was the 6 pack of vb's, actually the character of papageno was a riot. oh the spinning room and the flying moon. i want one of each. and the... and the... yes, i did enjoy the spectacle.
