i wouldn't say it was completely painful but really, i almost would've preferred going to work (okay, that's a complete lie). but i honestly couldn't see what the point of this film was? slice of life maybe? things were left awkwardly unresolved for me. definitely happy it was another freebie.
to combat the cold and rain i made minestrone soup that not only warmed me up but the rest of the house too. and then stayed huddled under my doona on the couch with a pile of books in easy reach and tv shows galore. it was a wonderful afternoon.
and yes, i called my mum. happy mother's day dear one.
