happy birthday brad

turned 40 today. so a big happy birthday to my brother who still lives in the red dirt of kalgoorlie-boulder. well, he lives in a house with his two boys that is probably surrounded by red dirt, so that counts.

the evening found me at new venue with alex. tickets to the art vs science gig were won so had to be used.

the band was joined by patience hodgson (she of the grates, who i did not recognise but i love the grates), tim derricourt from dappled cities gave us some fabulous dance moves and kate miller-heidke - that woman has an amazing voice and a fluffy dress.




wasn't a long set on a wednesday night, a little surreal but fun.
