rotunda in the west

there is a number of events organised by rotunda in the west. the initiative is part of victoria university's professional writing and editing team. this evening i went along to listen to the key speaker john marsden. being early i took part in a couple of the writing exercises and settled in to some music before the author took the stage. this event coincided with the opening of the brimbank literary festival, so a whole swag of people had come along.

the below car/ desk is sitting inside the building. there were a number of interesting sculptures to be seen in the environmentally sustainable complex of harvester college.
