friends, food and film

caught up with alex, chris and jamie for dinner before hitting acmi's freaky friday film. this week's offering was near dark. a kathryn bigelow movie (yes, she of hurt locker, point break fame) made in 1987. it was interesting to see an alternative vampire story but it didn't age well for me. but that's me, and i have a joss whedon vampire thing going.
