today i joined a hop on hop off bus so i could get to a few areas of nashville just a little out of the way. the photo below is the other side of the capitol building.
the building below is a fantastic old motor works factory that is slowly being converted into small boutique stores (think marshmallows, screen-printed t-shirts, beer) and also is the home of antique pickers, which is a big tv show over there and maybe here as well.
the building below is the central railway station, large and stately.
then it was onto the country music hall of fame. i had a ball listening to music i'd almost forgotten i'd grown up with.
the car below is elvis' gold cadillac. it even had a small tv inside - that man was before his time. ha!
here's the outside of the hall of fame - designed like a piano. well i hope so, since that's what i see.
more eating, more good music.
