onto the nation's capital

i caught the red eye across country and i have to admit i probably won't be doing that again any time soon. i slept, but not much at all so i didn't do as much as i planned that first day in washington, d.c. i did sit at starbucks and watch people head off to work and then wandered around my neighbourhood for a bit before checking in to the cool hotel rouge (i do recommend it). here's a pic of my room.

(i'm still trying to work out how to crop my photos with my ipad - not entirely successful i'm afraid... side note: have gone back and fixed everything when i got back to australia on my trusty macbook)
