the next day mark was free to join marta and myself out for breakfast and a jaunt around the streets of santa barbara.

then onto the old presidio - well, reconstructed in the mid 1980s from a much older plan.

then it was back to l.a. for me. hope to get back to visit marta and mark in their new home sooner rather than later.
