still downtown

wandered a little eastward to olvera street. this is a small street with a traditional mexican market place.



across the road from olvera street is the city post office - just love the building.


just adjacent to this is the los angeles union station. this is just gorgeous.




just realised that there are no people in the pictures but the station was crowded and very hot. not sure the high ceilings accommodated air conditioning.




i drove by the wiltern on the way home, as you can see by the billboard it's still used for live events.


and another drive by... what have they done to this cool car?? ugh!
